Hello everybody, welcome back to my blog. So, today I’m back with a recipe which I love and cook all the time. It’s a very easy and delicious Bolognaise sauce. You can eat along with your favourite pasta or even in your homemade mousaka. So, let’s start!
250 gr. ground beef
1 big onion
2 tbs. tomato puree
50 ml. red wine
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
salt and pepper
a few basil leaves
200 ml. water
Put on a high heat a non stick pan and drizzle some olive oil. When it’s all hot and ready add the ground beef and saute until it turns a brown colour and has no more juices left.
Add the onion and saute for a minute and then add the tomato puree and saute for one more minute. Add your red wine and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until it’s reduced and the alcohol is evaporated.
Then add salt, pepper, the paprica and the cinnamon and your water, lower your heat on medium and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes. Check indetween and maybe add some water if it needs it.
When it’s cooked close the heat and add your basil.
So, that’s all! A very, quick, easy and delicious recipe. I hope you enjoyed it and maybe try it soon.
